History

There are two versions of the Wing Chun history. The legend and the documented. The legend of Wing Chun is the word of mouth teaching from Sifu to disciple. The documented is the historical version of the same linage without specific names.

The reason for the secrecy was to protect the protectors of the Wing Chun system from the fascist government. The brief version of the history will tell the historically accepted version while the extensive version will be accounted by Yip Man the last conceded Grand Master of Wing Chun.
